The Dentist Placement Program was developed to recruit and refer dentists to positions in rural Wisconsin, as well as underserved areas in urban Wisconsin. We have placed 6 dentists throughout the state in our first year and are actively working with many candidates at this time. The Dentist Placement Program is a joint venture of the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health (WORH), which is part of the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health, and the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association. WORH is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare to the people of Wisconsin.
